We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist I to join our team at the Pediatric Rehabilitation Center at Burlington. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to analyze their communication and oral motor skills.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self-management techniques to improve recovery outcomes.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement discharge plans and recommendations for continued care.
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or eligibility to receive it through a Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Licensed by the North Carolina Board for Speech Pathologists and Audiologists during their Supervised Experience Year.
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification.
