Speech Language Pathologist SLP Home Health Specialist

At Amedisys, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in home health care. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families by providing much-needed care in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
- Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at a college or university whose program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
- Current CPR certification.
- One (1+) year of experience in speech pathology.
