About the Role

Verdantas is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing diverse projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex projects, overseeing multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, fostering strong partnerships
  • Collaborate with clients, municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors to drive project success
  • Develop and implement project strategies, scopes of work, risk evaluations, and budgets
  • Supervise and assign work to internal project teams and subcontractors
  • Interact with regulatory agencies, providing necessary information and ensuring compliance
  • Perform technical engineering work, including site planning, layout, stormwater management, and site grading
  • Review engineering analyses and reports from junior staff members
  • Prepare construction plans for agency review and submit land development permit applications
  • Mentor aspiring engineers and technicians
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering, with a preferred advanced degree
  • 10-20 years of experience in land development, geotechnical/civil-site engineering, and construction review, with 4-7 years in project management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in at least one New England state, with potential for reciprocity in others
  • Willingness to travel to projects within New England and New York
