About the Role:

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services in collaboration with our counseling services.
  • Work closely with a Medical Assistant to coordinate client care, assist with insurance pre-authorization, and caseload management.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric nursing from an accredited program.
  • Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience providing direct client care to individuals with psychiatric disorders.
  • Ability to work effectively with both adult and youth populations.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
