Behavioral Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide behavioral support to students in K-5th grades.
About the RoleThis is a contract position for the 2024-2025 school year, requiring 37.5+ hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who exhibit mild, moderate, or severe behaviors, including those with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.
Responsibilities- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Implement ABA skills and individualized educational plans (IEP)
- Provide de-escalation and crisis management training
- Active RBT certification from the BACB
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in a behavior field
- 2 years of experience working in schools and CPI training preferred
The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,000 - $59,600, based on a 37.5 hour workweek and an hourly rate of $25-$28.
