We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Manager to join our team at Rosauers Supermarkets. As a District Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of store managers and ensuring the operational excellence of our stores across the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure each store operates in line with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee the financial performance of our stores, including sales growth, expense management, and profitability.
- Leadership and Staff Development:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to store managers, including hiring, training, evaluating, and developing managers and staff.
- Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent store standards, addressing customer feedback, and implementing customer service initiatives.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all stores comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and that health and safety standards are upheld.
- Marketing and Merchandising:
- Execute marketing and merchandising programs and strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Strategic Planning:
- Participate in strategic planning for our stores, including setting goals, planning for growth, and adapting to market changes.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain effective communication with all levels of the company, including senior management, store employees, and external partners.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and handle complex situations effectively.
- Technology Utilization:
- Leverage technology to improve operational efficiency, gather insights, and enhance customer experience.
- Candidates must be 18+ years or older.
- Complete a pre-employment background check.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive experience in retail management, with a proven track record of managing stores.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Strong understanding of financial management, including profit and loss management.
- In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, etc.
- Excellent effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction, with the ability to uphold high standards.
- Ability to travel to any of our store locations and adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Capability to engage in strategic planning and implement long-term goals.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the retail sector.
