Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our commercial security team, you will be responsible for installing and programming integrated security systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and program integrated security systems, including fire and security systems, to ensure seamless operation and maximum security.
  • Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and loss of unused materials, and ensure proper cleanup of installation debris.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to verify installation schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Test and verify the operation of security systems to ensure proper establishment of service.
  • Read and interpret building, electrical, and sprinkler blueprints as required.
  • Coordinate installations with police and fire departments and handle necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
  • May manage installation teams on larger projects and travel to customer sites using company-provided vehicles and equipment.
Requirements
  • Some technical school training is a plus.
  • 6+ years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate fleet vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Access Control and CCTV certifications.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $30 to $37, based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
