Key Responsibilities- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
- Utilize effective communication and time management skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration.
- Participate in mandatory trainings and apply skills to provide high-quality support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Meet and demonstrate OPWDD Core Competencies to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Ensure health, wellness, and safety by managing crisis situations and providing appropriate supervision.
- Transport and escort individuals on recreational activities, medical appointments, and home visits.
- Build positive relationships and maintain a therapeutic environment through various methods.
- Complete documentation to ensure compliance and billing.
- Utilize foundational teaching skills to support individuals in achieving their goals.
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Work or life experience within the intellectual and developmental disabilities field is a plus.
- Ability to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Valid Driver's License may be required depending on the position.
- Tuberculosis test is mandatory for most positions.
