Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Life Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. As a Life Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for discussing financial concerns and needs with potential clients, ensuring effective insurance, retirement, and business planning education, and delivering responsible business planning, insurance, and retirement education via options for high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, long-term care insurance, and other related products.

Responsibilities
  • Discuss financial concerns and needs with potential clients identified during the prospecting process
  • Ensure effective insurance, retirement, and business planning education through an array of service offerings including high-quality insurance, fixed annuities, long-term care insurance, securities, investments, and more
  • Hone your knowledge and professional skills by successfully completing the New York Life training curriculum
  • Obtain optional licenses to sell investments and other securities products concerning wealth management and advanced planning
  • Increase your client base by creating and implementing strategic business and marketing plans
  • Prospect and contact potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns
  • Deliver responsible business planning, insurance, and retirement education via options for high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, long-term care insurance, and other related products
Qualifications
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented
  • Strong business expertise and knowledge
  • Backgrounds in people-oriented careers are a plus
  • Backgrounds in teaching and coaching are a plus
  • Must be able to engage your community and tap personal networks to identify contacts
  • Articulate complicated concepts using superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Uncompromising integrity and responsibility required
  • Growth mindset and sales experience strongly preferred
