Key Responsibilities
  • Assist current clients with policy updates, provide quotes, process payments, respond to inquiries, and supply necessary documentation.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence regarding both new and existing insurance policies, including managing claims during regular and after-hours.
  • Engage with prospective clients or support a producer to identify their needs, gather essential information, explore policy options, present solutions, finalize coverage, and negotiate with insurance carriers as required.
  • Schedule appointments or client discussions to review current policies, assess liability limits and exposures, identify additional coverage needs, evaluate replacement costs, and manage renewals.
  • Communicate with clients to deliver detailed information about products and services, quote new business, manage renewals or cancellations, process payments, and provide requested documentation.
  • Resolve product or service concerns by clarifying the client's issue, identifying the root cause, selecting and explaining the best resolution, expediting corrections, and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Review audits or policies for accuracy and facilitate necessary corrections between clients and carriers.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and transactions, documenting inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, mentor new staff, provide expertise, and participate in both formal and informal meetings as needed.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience is valued, but we are willing to train motivated individuals at an entry level.
  • Exhibit a strong customer service orientation and excellent phone etiquette; demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills along with proficient math and reading abilities for calculations.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to manage challenging situations with clients while solving complex problems independently.
  • Showcase excellent time management skills with a personal accountability mindset, along with proficiency in technology and computer systems, including agency management software, rating tools, and navigation of carrier websites.
Compensation: $36,000 - $45,000 annually
