Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage business office staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Establish and maintain accurate filing systems for accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident information, and personnel data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily and weekly Key Statistics Reporting.
  • Set up and maintain resident files in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage month-end billing processes for all payer classes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile cash receipts journal to the monthly deposit log and send a copy to the Home Office.
  • Supervise and maintain resident trust accounts, recording deposits, making payments, and reconciling accounts monthly.
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable, preparing monthly reports for quarterly AR reviews.
  • Supervise scheduling of office personnel, work assignments, and ensure consistent adherence to established procedures for cost control.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, ensuring adequate but not over-stocked levels.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college graduate or some college classes preferred.
  • Two years' experience in a supervisory, accounts receivable, payroll, or accounts payable environment, preferably in the Medicaid/Medicare, healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy, or long-term care environment.
  • Exemplary computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
