We seek a dedicated individual to plan, coordinate, and execute events aimed at generating new leads and nurturing existing opportunities while enhancing Formlabs' brand visibility within the established 3D printing sector and beyond.

Formlabs is currently in search of an Event Marketing Specialist to bolster our North American operations. You will take charge of Formlabs' event marketing strategy in the region, which encompasses trade show planning and execution, event logistics oversight, securing speaking engagements at pivotal industry gatherings, and implementing marketing initiatives tied to these events. You will oversee approximately 40 events with booth dimensions ranging from 10 x 10 to 50 x 30 feet.

A successful candidate will possess a proven history of organizing and managing trade shows while demonstrating ROI through effective event marketing strategies and tactics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership, along with regional marketing managers, to formulate event strategies and objectives; spearhead initiatives aimed at achieving goals related to lead generation, brand awareness, and customer advocacy.
  • Direct Formlabs' event and trade show strategy, which includes identifying significant events, coordinating pre- and post-show communications, managing event attendance and booth staffing, and conducting internal team training (elevator pitches, demonstrations, etc.).
  • Oversee the budget and expenditures for all North American events.
  • Coordinate and staff events for both Formlabs-hosted and collaborative events with partners.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts for both large- and small-scale events.
  • Engage with event-related vendors and contractors to secure necessary services.
  • Drive marketing-influenced pipeline and generate marketing-qualified leads at events.
  • Establish relationships with Formlabs customers, partners, and prospects during events.
  • Work closely with the in-house design team to ensure event displays accurately reflect the Formlabs brand.
  • Manage the ordering and tracking of event materials, including promotional items and collateral.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing trade shows and event marketing initiatives, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage resources, budgets, and on-site personnel effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Creative, innovative, and able to think outside the box.
  • Data-driven with the ability to derive insights from complex marketing data.
  • Confident with a friendly and dynamic personality.
