Housekeeping Manager

At Royal Caribbean Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of our onboard facilities, ensuring a seamless execution of premium service that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty, while maintaining a positive working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve exceptional customer service standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of housekeeping staff, providing coaching, training, and recognition to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation in housekeeping operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive housekeeping management experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship environment.
  • PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures, as well as experience with equipment and personal protective equipment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Working knowledge of financial aspects, budgeting, and cost containment, as well as experience with software packages such as Excel, Word, and related company programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results-oriented management and achieve exceptional customer service standards.
