Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional requirements of our students, while also considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train cafeteria staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have sufficient supplies of food and equipment to meet the needs of our students.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the cafeteria, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, with targeted job-related education and increasing levels of responsibility required.
- Knowledge and Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, and a high degree of motivation, responsibility, and confidentiality.
- Certifications and Licenses: Certification preferred, but not required.
This position requires the performance of heavy work, exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The position requires significant lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, and significant finger dexterity.
