As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining automatic and manual door equipment, storefront framing, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain door equipment, including automatic and manual doors, storefront framing, and other related systems.
  • Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers' recommended procedures and specifications.
  • Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing any problems, shortages, and inefficiencies in job site conditions.
  • Maintain proper truck stock and inventory.
  • Maintain company vehicle appearance and adhere to vehicle maintenance agreements.
  • Maintain clean, neat personal appearance in accordance with company policy.
  • Label equipment and completed door assignments with approved company logo decals.
  • Maintain accurate time sheets detailing job numbers and travel time.
  • Interface with customers, end-users, and general contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Participate in training programs offered and remain AAADM certified.
  • Perform all work in a safe manner to prevent accidents to yourself, coworkers, contractors, and the general public and property of all concerned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years' experience in direct industry, storefront door installation, or relevant industry experience.
  • Strong ability in electro-mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate both written and orally.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work on knees constantly, work while on ladders, and work safely with power tools and ladders.
