Job Title: Irrigation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Irrigation Specialist to join our team at Greenstar Landscaping & Irrigation Co.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving problems in the irrigation field. They will also perform thorough wet checks of the irrigation system to ensure the working condition and coverage of all zones and sprinkler heads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain clocks, timers, and rain sensors.
  • Track electrical components and troubleshoot.
  • Install irrigation pumps, check valves, wellhead, and screen.
  • Install zone valves, electrical valves, and manifolds.
  • Inspect all controllers and adjust settings as needed according to the water requirements of each zone.
  • Supervise others performing irrigation projects and installations and manage all projects most efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1-year experience as an irrigation foreman.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an irrigation technician.
  • Physically fit to perform the demanding work of the outdoor irrigation trade.
  • Must be able to speak and interact with our clients and employees professionally.
  • Experienced in the inner workings of an irrigation system, such as pumps, timers, valves, sprinkler heads, and all other accompanying components.
Benefits:
  • Salary is $35,000 - $45,000.
