Patient Access Department Manager

Job Summary
As a key member of the Conifer Health Solutions team, the Patient Access Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Patient Access department. This includes implementing process improvements, ensuring the safe and timely processing of patients, and managing a team of staff to achieve departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance patient flow and reduce wait times.
- Manage a team of staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
- Monitor and analyze departmental metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business.
- 3-5 years of experience in patient access or a related field.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
The Patient Access Department Manager will work in a fast-paced office environment, with regular interaction with staff, patients, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality improvement.
