Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Job Overview

We are looking for a committed Sanitation Worker to become a vital part of our team within a food production setting. The main duty involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the manufacturing area, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for subsequent production cycles. This role entails performing thorough cleaning tasks utilizing industrial-grade cleaning agents, with all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) provided, including gloves and protective suits.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting deep cleaning of machinery and production lines.
  • Sanitizing all equipment to meet safety and hygiene standards.
  • Cleaning pipes and ensuring all areas are ready for production.

Essential Skills

Hard Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a sanitation role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work in a GMP/SOP compliant setting, including wearing hair nets and safety glasses.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting weights up to 75 lbs.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

This position is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.

Work Environment

The role is fully on-site in a food manufacturing facility that adheres to CGMP and HAACP standards. The production area is not climate-controlled, which means it can be cold during winter and hot in summer. Proper work boots are mandatory, and compliance with CGMP regulations, including no jewelry and appropriate hair covering, is required.
