Job Summary

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our team in the Division of Neurology at CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio. As a key member of our pediatric services team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with chronic illnesses, utilizing your strong physical assessment and diagnostic skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient histories and perform physical examinations to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic procedures, prescribe appropriate treatments, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, providing education and support to patients and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in pediatric neurology, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies, with current licensure and certification in your respective field. A strong background in pediatric care, particularly in neurology, is essential. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
