Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Over 2 years of experience in software development, consulting, or support across various industries.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Scala, or Go.
  • Experience with databases including MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; knowledge of Windows tuning is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A high level of motivation for a role that merges technical expertise with customer engagement.
  • Confidence in presenting and communicating in customer-facing situations.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.

Role Responsibilities: As a vital member of the MongoDB Professional Services team, you will:

  • Assist in customer implementations throughout all phases of the application lifecycle, including assessment, planning, design, deployment, and optimization.
  • Deliver training sessions for clients in various roles, including architects, developers, and operations personnel.
  • Collaborate with a broader delivery team consisting of fellow consulting engineers, project managers, and account representatives.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, guiding both MongoDB and our clients toward future success.
  • Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
  • Be prepared to travel as needed to support client engagements.

Success Metrics: Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

  • Become a subject matter expert in all aspects of MongoDB.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical proposals to diverse audiences.
