Job Title: Intake Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team at Grace Federal Solutions, LLC. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify patient insurance and complete upfront collections before the date of service.
  • Obtain pre-authorization and prior-approval for scheduled and pre-registered accounts.
  • Complete pre-registration for patients as required or requested.
  • Schedule new and follow-up patient appointments and communicate cancellations as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of clinical and office supplies and order supplies within budget.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date ADT information to ensure patient safety, charging, coding, insurance processing, and billing accuracy.
  • Complete and document all governmental, regulatory, financial, and contractual forms in accordance with procedure.
  • Meet departmental targets for wait times, upfront collections, registration timeliness, and customer service.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of customer service and/or clerical experience.
  • Prefer experience in a healthcare setting with exposure to patient registration or scheduling or insurance authorization processes.
