Modern Government Solutions is seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team in Mount Laurel, NJ. As a Hardware Engineer, you will design and test radar sub-systems in support of DoD and international customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on radar programs supporting all phases of development from requirements generation through hardware and firmware design, fabrication, integration, and test.

Responsibilities include:

* Board and chassis-level analog and RF design (50 MHz-20 GHz)
* Work projects from requirements through integration
* Understand RF gain and noise performance
* Complete associated design documentation, test plans, test procedures, test reports
* Interface with systems and software engineering groups to facilitate integration and testing of complex subsystems
* Designs may involve RF PCB designs as well as connectorized component chassis-level designs
* Mentor younger engineers

Requirements:

* Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
* B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering
* 3-15 years of related Hardware design experience
* Proficient with RF test equipment
* Able to troubleshoot complex subsystems

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with analyzing circuit performance with tools such as, ANSYS HFSS or Microwave Office
* MS in Electrical Engineering
