Job Title: Research and Development Chemist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Chemist III to join our team at RCM Life Sciences and IT. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for providing project leadership for multiple technical projects, working under the close guidance of management and senior R&D staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and collaborate with all individuals within the company to achieve project success.
  • Organize and convene additional meetings as necessary to achieve project success.
  • Conduct literature searches, including related technical papers, patents, and others, as needed.
  • Lead the design and development efforts on assigned projects, working under close coordination with R&D management and senior R&D staff.
  • Recommend, plan, execute, generate or obtain results, and evaluate the data from all experiments (lab and/or production scale) agreed upon with management input.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory records and comply with our client's Design Control Procedure requirements.
Requirements:
  • BS or higher degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience required if BS, 1 to 2 years required if PhD.
  • Excellent data analysis skills to form solid conclusions.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Fluency in using contemporary and relevant software such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other similar tools.
  • Self-motivation and ability to operate routinely in a fast-paced environment.
