As a vital member of the Foodservice Sales team, the Sales Account Executive will report directly to a Director of Sales (DOS) or Foodservice Sales Executive (SAE).

This role involves regular interactions with the DOS (or SAE) and other team members, focusing on nurturing relationships and expanding business with designated distributor and/or operator accounts.

The individual will be responsible for fostering connections, delivering customer solutions, selling additional products, negotiating pricing and programs, and prioritizing efforts according to market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:



Establish and nurture professional relationships by identifying and targeting new accounts, as well as managing assigned accounts within the designated market to meet business goals. Collect, create, and maintain essential insights for all assigned accounts, including key contacts, correspondence, business size, product/category risks & opportunities, competitive landscape, timing, and potential challenges. Ensure progress is tracked using the CRM tool, keeping all relevant parties informed.

Implement and oversee all strategic initiatives. Collaborate with Sales Development Business Units and Trade teams as necessary to achieve or surpass sales objectives by managing marketing programs, expense management, and deduction resolution (when applicable).

Provide customer sales support for market events, meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and local trade exhibitions.

Must consistently meet assigned volume targets and execute pricing strategies within the marketplace. Manage expenditures and oversee the mix of products sold.

Oversee Travel & Expense Budget.

Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:



Experience:
A minimum of 2-5 years of external sales experience in Food Service, Manufacturing, or Distributor Sales.




Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.




Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.




Special Skills:
Strategic thinking, planning, negotiation capabilities, understanding of motivational leadership, and conflict resolution skills; event planning execution.




Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.




Travel: 20-30%
