Job Overview

This is a senior-level position within our organization, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in the development and ongoing review of detailed financial models to enable corporate planning and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze various operational and financial scenarios
  • Compile and present financial data to stakeholders, including investors, board members, and senior management
  • Prepare variance reports to compare budget expectations to actual results and consensus
  • Run financial models to analyze the impact of various sensitivity cases on the company's financial performance
  • Assist in the evaluation of acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives by developing corporate merger models and conducting accretion/dilution analysis
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial modeling, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Investment banking experience is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, financial analysis, and corporate finance
