Join our team at Sun Communities and take on an exciting role as a Sales Operations Coordinator, responsible for managing routine sales office tasks and administrative duties within a designated area of manufactured housing communities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Welcome and build relationships with visitors, current and potential residents; provide them with relevant information about the communities in your area.


• Assist in the creation of promotional materials, including brochures and flyers related to homes for sale (new, pre-owned, and brokered), community events, and other related content as directed.


• Support prospective residents by checking the availability of homes; review listings, showcase properties, and help with rental applications as permitted by management.


• Direct all sales inquiries to the District Sales Supervisor, complete prospect documentation, and ensure timely entry into the management system.


• Collaborate with the Underwriting department to secure approvals for prospective resident applications; monitor all approval and denial processes.


• Review and categorize invoices and statements for managerial approval.


• Address and resolve routine inquiries from residents/customers promptly and professionally; escalate comments, suggestions, and complex issues to the appropriate manager.


• Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, filing, and other assigned duties.


• Ensure adequate office supplies are maintained and prepare orders as necessary.


• Forward customer service requests to management in a timely manner.


• Prepare and print necessary documents such as lease agreements, addendums, and notices as required.


• Assist in planning and coordinating resident engagement events and activities within the assigned communities.


• Maintain records and files in accordance with company policies.


• Complete requests for new move-in incentives for non-Sun Homes transactions.


• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS


• High School Diploma or GED.


• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.


• Strong customer service orientation.


• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.


• Effective problem-solving skills.


• Professional demeanor.


• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, email, and internet usage, with efficient data entry capabilities.


• Previous experience with property management software is a plus.


• Prior experience in sales or leasing office environments is preferred.
