Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA)/Mental Health Technician to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, working under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide selected duties pertaining to direct and indirect nursing care of patients.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Current LNA license to practice professional nursing in the State of Vermont.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • Must obtain AVADE certification within 6 months of hire.
  • At least one year of previous experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a nursing home or hospital setting.
