Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Childhood and Family Mental Health Case Manager to join our team at Washington County Mental Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support and services to young children and their families experiencing or at-risk for severe emotional disturbance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide individualized support and supervision to therapeutic foster care providers, adoptive parents, and biological parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family, including crisis intervention and support.
  3. Collaborate with local DCF office, schools, and other agencies to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to supporting children and families.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely records, including monthly summaries and treatment team summaries, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Provide transportation for children and families as needed, utilizing your own vehicle and ensuring adequate insurance coverage.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
  2. Two years of experience in human service delivery, particularly with children and families experiencing moderate to severe behavioral and mental health challenges.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  4. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  5. Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with the ability to walk and/or run with children up to one mile without accommodation.
  6. Able to drive clients and family members in your own personal vehicle, with a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
