Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Childhood and Family Mental Health Case Manager to join our team at Washington County Mental Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support and services to young children and their families experiencing or at-risk for severe emotional disturbance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support and supervision to therapeutic foster care providers, adoptive parents, and biological parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family, including crisis intervention and support.
- Collaborate with local DCF office, schools, and other agencies to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to supporting children and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including monthly summaries and treatment team summaries, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide transportation for children and families as needed, utilizing your own vehicle and ensuring adequate insurance coverage.
- Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
- Two years of experience in human service delivery, particularly with children and families experiencing moderate to severe behavioral and mental health challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with the ability to walk and/or run with children up to one mile without accommodation.
- Able to drive clients and family members in your own personal vehicle, with a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
