Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis Lead to enhance our dynamic finance team. This permanent role presents an exceptional opportunity to leverage your financial expertise, strategic foresight, and leadership capabilities to enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct the financial planning and analysis operations, encompassing annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-term strategic initiatives.
2. Construct and maintain intricate financial models to facilitate decision-making regarding complex business challenges, including new opportunity profitability, capital assessments, revenue projections, and profit margin evaluations.
3. Supervise the generation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring precision, punctuality, and alignment with overarching company goals.
4. Manage cost accounting functions, including inventory assessment, cost of goods sold evaluations, and overhead distribution.
5. Collaborate with senior management to formulate and execute business strategies that foster growth and profitability.
6. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, implementing necessary risk management measures.
7. Advocate for process enhancements within the finance department, identifying efficiency opportunities and executing solutions.
8. Assess the company's financial performance and pinpoint areas for potential cost reductions or revenue growth.
9. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management, influencing key business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. MBA, CPA, or CFA credentials are preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial forecasting, accounting principles, and financial modeling.
- Proven track record in strategic planning and business development.
- Exceptional skills in financial reporting and cost accounting.
- Strong understanding of performance management principles and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance processes and implement best practices in finance.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of effective team management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel capabilities.
- Familiarity with financial software systems is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
