We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician II - Certified to become a vital part of our outpatient oncology pharmacy team. This role is essential in ensuring effective medication management across various care dimensions, contributing to the overall health and wellness of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and delivery of both Hazardous and Non-Hazardous sterile admixtures.
  • Management of refill processes for automated dispensing systems and emergency supply kits.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in the use of pharmacy equipment and software.
  • Adhering to regulatory standards set by USP797/800, Board of Pharmacy, DHHS, and DEA.
  • Acquisition of medications and supplies as required by the site.
  • Handling and directing phone inquiries, ensuring appropriate referrals to pharmacists.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in pharmacy settings, with at least one year in sterile compounding.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current registration with the State Board of Pharmacy and PTCB or NHA Certification required within a specified timeframe.
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, basic math skills, and familiarity with medication management.
