  • Collaborating with finance, operations, IT, and business leaders to facilitate mergers and acquisitions from initial discussions through to full integration.
  • Influencing cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timelines.
  • Assessing the financial processes and controls of acquired companies, identifying gaps, and advising on necessary adjustments.

  • Evaluating revenue recognition impacts of acquisitions and advising on new business models.
  • Designing and executing streamlined and automated integration processes for new acquisitions and product offerings.
  • Overseeing a team responsible for financial analysis, journal entries, and reconciliation of revenue-related accounts.
  • Managing the preparation of reports to meet both internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Implementing and documenting processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical accounting documentation, particularly regarding revenue recognition and business combinations.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid CPA license.
  • Experience in managing monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including reconciliations and audits.
  • Proficiency in contract analysis under relevant accounting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with various accounting software.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally with a blend of public accounting and private sector exposure.
  • A comprehensive understanding of revenue recognition and accounting principles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills to plan and execute project activities successfully.
  • Confidence and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment across various business units.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional desirable qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of quote-to-collect processes and market strategies.
  • Experience with business model integration and mergers and acquisitions.
