Role Overview

The Injection Mold Maintenance Technician is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our plastic injection molds function optimally. This position is integral to maintaining the high manufacturing standards that our clients expect by executing a thorough mold maintenance strategy. The technician's efforts directly influence our ability to efficiently produce a wide array of products with precision, reflecting our dedication to innovation and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a proactive maintenance plan for all plastic injection molds.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks using both machine and hand tools to ensure molds are in peak condition.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities to monitor the performance and status of each mold.
  • Work collaboratively with management to prioritize maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Assist in the setup of injection molds as necessary, supporting seamless manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure personal tools are well-maintained and ready for use in maintenance tasks.
  • Foster strong teamwork and communication across various departments.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of plastic injection molds, including mold disassembly, reassembly, and preventive care.
  • High School Diploma or GED; additional education in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with wiring manifolds and hot runner systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, demonstrating excellent teamwork.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to tasks.
