Regional Service Technician Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Service Technician to join our team at CEO Inc. As a Regional Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of aftermarket products and refurbished equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Install and start-up aftermarket service products, including machine refurbishments and EncoreTM systems

Perform resealing of hydraulic seals on clamp and injection units

Install pumps and motors

Level machines and robots, adjust nozzle concentricity, platen parallelism, and tie-bar stretch

Troubleshoot and correct control systems, hydraulic systems, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and electronic systems

Calibrate and fine-tune machines to achieve optimal performance

Develop an organized approach to solving machine problems using reference materials

Repair and replace machine components, robot components, and product handling equipment

Provide superior customer service, coordinate with internal resources, and provide telephone support to customer maintenance staff

Communicate with Call Center/CSM PEs and Engineering/Jeffersonville Parts Center to resolve field problems

Dress professionally, be on time for appointments, and turn in documentation as required

Instruct service technicians and customer operators on maintenance and safe operation of injection molding systems

Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior Service Technicians

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Mechanically and electrically inclined with general knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical assembly

Electrical/Mechanical Technologist or demonstrated competency through work experience

Knowledge and application of Husky injection molding technology

Knowledge of blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems

Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong customer service orientation

Tact and diplomacy to handle difficult/unhappy customers

Demonstrated initiative-taker with a positive attitude

Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
