Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality Computed Tomographic (CT) imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT imaging procedures using ALARA principles and following established protocols.
  • Operate CT machines and equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Interact with patients, physicians, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Access electronic medical records to review patient history and determine proper scan protocols.
  • Identify contraindications to IV and oral contrast preparations.
  • Have a basic understanding of CT department operations and equipment.
  • Stand, walk, and assist in transferring or lifting patients as needed.
  • Move or lift departmental supplies and equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA or JRCERT approved school.
  • Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Advanced Certification in Computerized Tomography is preferred.
  • Two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist and a minimum of one year of CT diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
  • BCLS required.
