Job Summary:

The Payroll Project Analyst is responsible for managing payroll inquiries and requests for internal and external customers via a case management tool. They will research and resolve employee concerns through effective communication with appropriate parties, provide time and labor data management, and audit and reconcile the Time and Labor database for submission to outsource vendors. Additionally, they will review and validate 1-time payments, deductions, and miscellaneous spreadsheets for submission to outside vendors. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of diverse payroll and time administration experience in a multi-company, multi-state environment and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and Word).

Key Responsibilities:
Research and resolve employee concerns through effective communication with appropriate parties
Provide time and labor data management, including data audits and communications to employees
Audit and reconcile the Time and Labor database for submission to outsource vendors
Review and validate 1-time payments, deductions, and miscellaneous spreadsheets for submission to outside vendors
Partner with the payroll vendor to coordinate all required payroll support tasks
Manage department mail to ensure time-sensitive documents are addressed internally or forwarded to responsible third-party vendors
Uphold company policies and procedures related to payroll processing

Requirements:
1-3 years of diverse payroll and time administration experience in a multi-company, multi-state environment
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a quality customer service focus
Creative problem-solving skills, including good analytical, decision-making skills, and strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow preferred
A minimum of an AS/BS in Accounting or Finance; relevant Finance/Accounting Certifications preferred
