We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Tech to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our laboratory section, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory staff, ensuring efficient and effective workflow.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventory.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology, microbiology, biology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical laboratory experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from a recognized accrediting agency.
