Qualifications and Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proficient understanding of English language conventions, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Basic knowledge of mathematical principles.
- Familiarity with effective instructional methodologies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Capability to establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Competence in preparing reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Adept at following oral and written directives.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
- Completion of Basic Skills (CBEST) assessment is necessary.
One year is defined as a minimum of 1,000 clock hours.
- At least one year of the requisite work experience must have occurred within the last five years, or two years within the last ten years, prior to the issuance of the preliminary credential.
- May substitute 48 semester units of postsecondary vocational training pertinent to the industry sector(s) named on the credential for a maximum of two of the three years of required work experience.
Additionally, one of the following may be considered as one year of work experience towards fulfilling the three years of required experience:
- Possession of an advanced industry certification relevant to the industry sector specified on the preliminary credential, as determined by a Commission-approved CTE program sponsor.
- One year of full-time general education teaching experience providing instructional services in preschool or grades K-12 in a public or private educational institution of equivalent status.
NOTE:
To qualify for the three-year preliminary credential, an individual must have at least one year of actual work experience.

- Three Letters of Recommendation (from three distinct individuals) that are signed and dated within the last two years (electronic signatures will not be accepted)
- Copies of academic transcripts
- Proof of Basic Skills (CBEST)
- Proof of Bachelor's degree or higher
- Proof of EL authorization or equivalent
- Proof of the required Teaching Credential or proof of eligibility for the credential

Compensation and Terms
The compensation for this position is $55.52 per hour.
