Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Elementary Dual Language Immersion Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in a dual language immersion program, where students learn academic content in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students in a dual language immersion program
  • Teach academic content in both English and Spanish to students in grades K-5
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement district-wide initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
  • Valid BCLAD/Bilingual authorization
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with students, teachers, parents, administrators, and community members in Spanish and English
