Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on established standards and policies.
  • Delegate tasks to professional and non-professional personnel to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Facilitate a safe environment for patients and others, with a focus on wound care treatment and prevention.
  • Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, prioritizing and coordinating activities related to patient care management.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address concerns.
Requirements:
  • CPR certification (ACLS required within one year of employment or transfer)
  • Louisiana RN unencumbered licensure or RN exam applicant permit
  • 1-2 years of related experience (part-time positions may require less experience)
