Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join our team. As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: * Perform thorough examinations on patients' legs and feet to identify and diagnose various diseases and conditions. * Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, such as fractures, corns, and calluses. * Recommend and prescribe medication for relieving joint pain and suggest foot orthoses to enhance mobility and alleviate discomfort. * Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding foot care and overall wellness practices. * Request additional medical tests as necessary based on the initial assessments.
