Role Overview:

As the Warehouse Operations Leader, you will be tasked with overseeing the safety, productivity, and efficiency of warehouse activities. Your role will involve supervising staff and monitoring operational workflows to cultivate a culture of safety and community while enhancing the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effective supervision, leadership, and communication with warehouse personnel. Key Responsibilities:

Engaging with warehouse associates on a daily basis under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager.Consistently attending to employee needs and ensuring adherence to established processes.Overseeing the efficient functioning of warehouse and transportation operations.Assisting in the recruitment and interviewing of prospective employees.Training, supervising, and assessing the performance of warehouse staff.Collaborating with team leaders regarding personnel movements and task completion.Maintaining records of attendance, productivity metrics, and employee performance evaluations.Monitoring inventory levels and directing replenishment efforts as necessary.Ensuring all equipment is operational and coordinating necessary repairs.Planning and organizing workflows and resource allocation to complete shifts safely and effectively.Working with other supervisors to enhance production, quality, and communication.Ensuring that all merchandise and shipping containers are adequately stocked for order selection personnel.Supervising the effective operations of the warehouse, providing detailed daily reports to warehouse management, and making adjustments during shifts to ensure process efficiency.Promoting safe work practices in accordance with company safety policies and standards.Performing other related duties as assigned.
