Job Summary:

1st Class Security is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and preventing shoplifting, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough floor patrols to identify and apprehend shoplifters
  • Write clear and concise reports detailing incidents and actions taken
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
  • Provide courtroom testimony as required


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 34 hours at a time
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
  • Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
  • Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
  • Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
  • Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
