About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC maintenance technician to join our team at Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential and commercial customers
  • Travel to job sites in our service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedules are maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers
  • Be available to work nights or weekends on a rotating basis to service emergency needs of our customers
  • Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies
  • Identify, report, and educate homeowners on potential opportunities for additional business
Requirements
  • A current EPA certification and state registration
  • Nate certification and state certification is a plus
  • Completion of an accredited HVAC program preferred
  • 3 years of residential HVAC experience with a strong focus on customer service preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
