Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our Medical Team at Alivation Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of promoting mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support the practice mission and strategic vision within the behavioral health department.
  • Provide routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency care for patients.
  • Maintain a patient caseload and have specialized training in a clinical area.
  • Confers with patients, families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care.
  • Provides patient medication management and education regarding prescription effects and side effects.
  • Supervises Physician Assistants within the behavioral health specialist.
  • Implements treatment plans that utilize Alivation's Integrated Care offerings.
  • Meticulously documents patient-related administrative and clinical documentation in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
  • M.D. degree from an accredited medical school required.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-approved psychiatric residency program required.
  • Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry required.
  • Active Nebraska license (state registry in good standing) required.
  • Current DEA license registration required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or in process.
