Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and support the practice mission and strategic vision within respective departments.
  • Handle confidential information requiring professional discretion and compliance with protected health information, data integrity and security policies.
  • Provide routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency care for patients.
  • Maintain a patient load and have specialized training in a clinical area.
  • Implement treatment plans that utilize Alivation's Integrated Care offerings, including Primary Care, On-Site Pharmacy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Pharmacogenetic Testing, Telehealth, Research, Remote Patient Monitoring, and others.
  • May be asked to be a Primary Investigator or Sub-Investigator on Research Studies.
  • Meticulously document patient-related administrative and clinical documentation in electronic medical records systems.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and function under stressful or emergent situations.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing work demands in terms of priorities that necessitate personal initiative.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, active listening skills, verbal, and written communication skills, patience, and trustworthiness to effectively share knowledge with the Chief Medical Officer, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Family Practice Physician, medical staff, student residents, patients, families, visitors, and the broader healthcare community.
  • Demonstrate competence in Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities that service to maintain, develop, or increase knowledge, skills, and professional performance.
  • Other clinical or administrative duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer to meet practice needs.
Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology, Medicine, Biology, or Neuroscience degree from an APA-accredited program required.
  • Successful completion of a clinical practice internship.
  • Post-doctoral training under supervision required.
  • Active Nebraska license (state registry in good standing) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or in process.
  • Familiar with EMR & PM systems.
  • Familiar with Microsoft platforms.
Experience
  • Three years of previous experience in neuropsychology treatment.
  • Preferred specialized training in a clinical area.
  • Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations to characterize cognitive, mental, and behavioral abilities resulting from central nervous system disease or injury.
  • Provide patient health education.
  • Broad research knowledge in human physiology and psychology.
