We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgical Oncologist to join our team at Colorado State University. As a key member of our Department of Clinical Sciences, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring students, and contributing to the advancement of veterinary surgical oncology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including surgical oncology services, in our state-of-the-art Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
- Teach and mentor students in the DVM program, as well as clinical fellows and other specialists in training.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical trials and research studies in veterinary surgical oncology.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the field of veterinary surgical oncology through research, education, and clinical practice.
- DVM or equivalent veterinary professional degree.
- Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons or equivalent.
- ACVS Founding Fellow or Fellow in Surgical Oncology or completion of a fellowship training program in surgical oncology preferred.
- Experience in instruction of DVM students.
- Experience with mentorship of clinical fellows and other specialists in training.
- Evidence of dedication to the advancement of the field of surgical oncology.
