Join Our Team as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

Maimonides Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our clinical trials.

About the Role

The Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating nursing, physician, and organizational data collection and analysis of outcomes. This includes serving as a team facilitator and providing consultation on tools, techniques, use of data, and interpretation of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with IRB application, progress/closure reports, amendments, instruction to staff regarding requirements, IRB Manager access, COIs, and CITI training.
  • Assist with study procedures according to protocol requirements.
  • Collect data for various studies by electronic medical search and abstraction, assimilate data, and create reports in various chart/graph formats.
  • Support and assist in the implementation of institutional-wide PI plans.
  • Maintain clinical competencies by remaining current in bedside emergency nursing.
Requirements
  • Masters of Science degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Current NYS licensure as RN required; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience required.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • 2+ years of performance improvement experience.
  • 2+ years of pain management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and English written/verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office.
