Position Overview:
Summit Medical Group is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our diagnostic imaging team. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations on scheduled patients with precision and safety.
  • Adhere to established imaging protocols to ensure reliable and consistent test outcomes.
  • Provide professional and compassionate care to patients, addressing their needs and ensuring comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Comply with organizational policies and procedures, including ACR accreditation standards, OSHA regulations, and corporate compliance guidelines.
  • Adapt to varying workflow demands, seeking assistance from colleagues or supervisors when necessary.
  • Oversee the quality control of ultrasound equipment and maintain proper inventory of supplies as directed.
  • Promptly report any equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain organized records, including logs, card files, and test results.
  • Assist in other operational areas during downtime as required.
  • Exhibit a courteous and collaborative demeanor towards all staff and patients.
  • Keep current with CPR certification and other relevant professional development.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of required ultrasound technology coursework.

Experience:
Preferred two years of experience in ultrasound, with echocardiography experience being a plus but not mandatory.

Certification:
RDMS certification is required.
