Covenant Health is in search of a proficient individual to fill the role of Cardiac Sonographer within our advanced Cardiac Diagnostics Department. This position involves collaborating with our cardiology team to accurately assess cardiac conditions utilizing the latest ultrasound technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, pathology, and medical terminology to execute high-quality ultrasound examinations
  • Oversee the maintenance of imaging equipment, supplies, and examination areas
  • Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound assessments on patients
  • Serve as a communication bridge between patients, healthcare providers, and support personnel
  • Foster and nurture professional relationships with both colleagues and patients
  • Engage in ongoing education and quality enhancement programs

Required Qualifications:

Educational Background: Requirements may differ, but candidates must adhere to licensing standards.
Experience: Preference is given to candidates with hospital experience in cardiac sonography.
Licensure: Must be in the process of obtaining CCI, ARRT, or ARDMS Registry through an accredited institution.
