Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations on all scheduled patients with precision and safety.
  • Adhere to established imaging protocols to ensure reliable and consistent test outcomes.
  • Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their needs and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures, including ACR accreditation standards, OSHA regulations, and corporate compliance guidelines.
  • Adapt to fluctuating workflow demands, seeking assistance from colleagues or supervisors when necessary.
  • Oversee the quality control of ultrasound equipment and report any operational challenges promptly.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels as directed by supervisors.
  • Maintain organized records, including logs, film folders, and test results, in an orderly manner.
  • Assist in various capacities during downtime in assigned areas.
  • Exhibit professionalism and cooperation in interactions with colleagues, management, and the public.
  • Keep current with CPR certification and all necessary continuing education relevant to the role.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with completion of required coursework in ultrasound technology.

Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in ultrasound is preferred. Experience in echocardiography is a plus but not mandatory.

Certification:
RDMS certification is required.
